Project Overview
JP Tech completed a full engine swap on a Komatsu PC4000 as part of a planned major component replacement. The project required coordinated lifting operations, mechanical teardown, and precision installation to safely remove the existing engine and install the replacement.
Work included:
- Removal of the existing engine assembly
- Disconnection and reconnection of hydraulic, electrical, and cooling systems
- Crane-assisted extraction and installation
- Alignment and mounting of the replacement engine
- Reinstallation of supporting components and connections
- Final inspection and preparation for return to service
